The dealership worked hard to get me the best deal possible on a beautiful new Chevy Blazer. This dealership has top notch salesmen and finance officers. This is the second vehicle I have bought from Don Franklin and I have bought both on my own. They take me, as a female, very seriously and that is a very important reason that I continue to go back to this dealership. Great customer service. I needed a service done on my 2015 Silverado and, though very busy, they managed to diagnose my problem within 1 day. They got me back on the road and didn’t try to hit me with a bunch of unnecessary fixes. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Don Franklin.

I was in a pinch and in desperate need of car..I live in Mount Sterling and Kyle was able to find me a car in my price range after asking a few questions over the phone, he just called me when he got it all ready for me to drive up and finish the process in person..super smooth in and out process! I arrived a few minutes late for my appointment and the agents were very helpful and although busy helped me immediately. I asked how long my service would take and they said an hour and my car was likely ready in less than that because when I arrived back from grabbing a bite to eat my car was ready for pickup and I was almost immediately checked out. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
I recently went here looking for a new van for my wife after hers got totalled. I had purchased three vehicles in the past with Don Franklin of somerset and each time it was very easy and had no issues whatsoever. However this time something didn't feel right from the start. Our salesperson was very friendly but he kept coming up with monthly payments that just didn't add up. Before he checked with any banks after the initial credit check we were given a estimated payment on both a new and used van. I realize my credit wasn't stellar and that I would be paying a higher interest rate but both payments seemed ridiculously high to me and at 9 percent interest just didn't add up when I did the math. The salesperson assured me that these were not final numbers and asked that I allow them to make inquiries with the bank to get the final amount and give them time to have the used vehicle to their lot for us to look at. I agreed but specifically told the salesperson that he could only do two inquiries because I knew these would show on my credit report and stay there for two years. The salesperson agreed and we left for lunch and to do some shopping while he did the inquiries with the two banks I gave permission for and have the van delivered. As we were eating lunch all my credit monitoring apps started lighting up and showed that they had ran five or six hard inquiries with different banks after I left. I couldn't believe he had done what I specifically had just asked him not to do. After purchasing three vehicles in the past with them I had no reason to believe there would be a issue this time.
I hope that this was a isolated event and that this isn't common practice for them. Regardless now I have at least five new hard inquiries on my credit report that will raise a red flag anytime I attempt to get a loan now. Needless to say I never went back and put a freeze on my credit so that nobody could run any more inquiries without my knowledge.
Well here is the deal folks this place is shady. Took my truck in with Trans problems. They diagnosed and told me I needed a new transmission. They kept the truck for a week and a half to fix it. Picked up on a Saturday. Drove the truck until the following Friday. Same issue with my Trans started again. I have already paid 6300$ to have a fixed Trans why is this happening. Took back on Saturday morning, a week after getting the truck back. Was told well we get bad parts from the manufacturer. Take that in mind with all the new vehicles they are trying to sell you. Got my truck back the following Friday, my dad had to pick it up due to me working. Got in it this Saturday morning to go squirrel hunting with my dog and there is the engine light on, my oil has not been changed this is after they said that would be complimentary oil change. I just told them I needed the oil changed they offered to do it for free and now it has not been done. I don't know if they think the customer should be polite all the time after they keep messing everything up or just possibly not doing the work they claim they are doing. But I would not purchase a new vehicle from them if everything that comes from the manufacturer is bad coming from there. And I definitely would not recommend this place for any type of service. Hopefully I covered everything here. Good luck if you go there, hopefully your experience won't be as horrible as mine if you decide to use them.
I dropped my truck off the day of my appointment before 8 and I came to pick it up around 3 and it haven’t been touched so I had to leave it another day just to get a service and tire rotation. With my $25 off voucher the price of the work was worth the wait even though it was very inconvenient the day it happened.
